The gang must house-sit for The Addams Family when the parents go on a trip to the Okefenokee Swamp. However, they soon realize that this is a harder job than they thought when they are chased throughout the house by strange creatures, and a vulture kidnaps Wednesday.

- Copyright issues with Charles Addams (creator of the Addams Family) currently prevent this episode from being released on DVD or streaming. However, it has been released on VHS in the UK and Australia.
- All the actors from the original 60s Addams Family sitcom (John Astin, Carolyn Jones, Ted Cassidy and Jackie Coogan) reprise their roles, with the exception of Pugsley and Wednesday's actors, Ken Weatherwax and Lisa Loring. The newspaper in which Mr. Hyde cut the letters out of for Sandy's ransom note has a picture of a pig with the words "some pig" as the headline. While this could be shrugged off as simple coincidence, Hanna-Barbera produced and released the first-ever Charlotte's Web film on February 22, 1973, just a few months after "Sandy Duncan's Jekyll and Hydes" aired.

On a trip to Velma's old high school, they discover the ghost of Fireball McFain is threatening to shut down the school. The gang decides to solve the mystery, but finds Fireball at every turn.
